Art Gallery

A painter and the hostess of the Hietala, Teija Holopainen is the woman behind Kieringin Lomakylä Oy. She has studied arts and arthistory in the University of Lapland, during 2006 - 2011. Her art reflects the Lappish symbolism with strong colours, expressive manifestation.

Teija is also part of the Lapland artsociety Palas ry, where she has acted as chairman for three years.

Treasures of the north

On the courtyard of the Hietala, you can find "the little side"-building from where you can find Lappish art available for purchase. The art gallery on "the little side" also works as the main shop for the art of Teija Holopainen. 

The gallery has been open since Autumn 2014, and the building is from year 1924.
